The 184 room facility called Velocity Village was the dream of Kevin Hughes, a developer with almost 40 years of experience. He wanted to make the best possible accommodation for workers in the Pilbara where they can be comfortable and enjoy every part of their stay.
It is one of only two IPL4 Cyclone Rated accommodation facilities for your staff in Karratha, the other being the new Velocity Motel.
The 92 twin-keyed, fully-furnished two bedroom units feature a kitchen, dining, living and laundry area, plus each room is equipped with a queen sized bed, a private en-suite bathroom that is individually keyed and separated by a spacious kitchen, lounge and dining area.
Each room has its own outdoor veranda to relax after a hard day’s work or enjoy a beer with mates. The units are spaced apart so it’s very quiet, to ensure a good night’s sleep and, should a cyclone occur, your staff do not need to relocate to a shelter and can shelter safely in their own rooms.
The meals include chef-prepared morning and evening buffets, daily a la carte options and crib lunches.
